Gold Seal Certification demonstrates expertise, industry commitment and ensures that practitioners are ready to meet the demands of construction projects. Being a partner to the Gold Seal Certification Program, CANB-SJ is the exclusive local facilitator for certification exams.

Bid Depository System

Building for the Future

Through various fundraising initiatives, CANB-SJ offers an annual grant to local schools, helping to ensure the future of industrial and construction type programs for our youth. The deadline for application for the annual grant is September 30 for the current school year, click here to apply.

The Construction Association of New Brunswick – Saint John is currently accepting applications for membership growth in the Saint John and surrounding areas. Our geographical jurisdiction includes Saint John, Charlotte, Kings and Queens Counties. See below for the current annual membership fee structure..

  • General Contractors: $1,535.25 annual ($1,335.00 + 15% HST) – includes access to on-line tendering database (CINet 2.0)
  • Trade Contractors: $1,535.25 annual ($1,335.00 + 15% HST) – includes access to on-line tendering database (CINet 2.0)
  • Suppliers and Manufacturers: $1,535.50 annual ($1,335.00 + 15% HST) – includes access to on-line tendering database (CINet 2.0)
  • Professional Services: $1,017.75 annual ($885.00 + 15% HST) – includes access to on-line tendering database (CINet 2.0)
  • Industry Associates: $701.50 annual ($610.00 + 15% HST) – does not include access to on-line tendering database (CINet 2.0)

Simply download and complete the CANB-SJ Membership Application form and email to sjcic@nb.aibn.com. All credit card payments for annual membership fees can be made by phone (506) 633-1101 or in person at our 263 Germain Street office. Company cheques can be mailed to 263 Germain Street, Saint John, NB, E2L 2G7. Upon evaluation and approval by the board of directors, full members will be contacted with login credentials for the CINet on-line tendering database (not applicable for Industry Associate Members).
It is designed to allow easy access to tender information including plans, specifications, and addenda 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The original version of CINet 2.0 was completed in 1999 and was the first electronic plans room to be used in Canada.

With advanced search capabilities and daily updates, construction association members can get the tender information they need, quickly and easily. In addition, members can receive timely updates via e-mail on any project they wish as well as customize the system to suit their needs.
